Quantity report 2025

The reporting of quantities of sustainable biomass or biomass fuels for 2024 under SURE-EU is now possible.

It is now possible to report the quantities of sustainable biomass or biomass fuels that were marketed or used under a valid SURE certificate in 2024.

In accordance with Article 8 of the scheme agreement and the applicable fee schedule of 19 November 2020, SURE charges an annual fee for participation in the SURE-EU scheme in the second quarter of the calendar year, consisting of the basic fee and the volume fee resulting from the reported quantity of sustainable biomass.

In accordance with Directive (EU) 2018/2001 (RED II), SURE is also obliged to report the quantities of biomass used as sustainable in the previous year to the EU Commission by 30 April 2025 at the latest.

In order to determine the amount of your annual fee and to record the reportable biomass quantities, we would therefore ask you to record the quantities of sustainable biomass you use or supply in the SURE database under the menu item "Quantity reports" by 31 March 2025.

We have simplified the input mask for entering the quantities. We also provide you with a manual for reporting quantities, which can be used to help entering the data quickly and easily. The FAQ paper provided, gives answers to the most frequently asked questions in connection with the quantity reports.
