Quantity reports now possible

It is now possible to report the quantities of sustainable biomass or biomass fuels that were marketed or used under a valid SURE certificate in 2025.

In accordance with section 2.2.12 of the scheme contract and the applicable fee schedule dated 01.01.2026, SURE will charge an annual fee for participation in the SURE EU system in the second quarter of the calendar year, consisting of a basic fee and a volume-based fee calculated on the basis of the reported quantity of sustainable biomass.

SURE is also obliged under the Revised Directive (EU) 2018/2001 (RED III) to report the quantities of biomass used sustainably in the previous year to the EU Commission by 30 April 2026 at the latest.

In order to determine the amount of your annual fee and to record the reportable biomass quantities, we would therefore ask you to record the quantities of sustainable biomass you use or supply in the SURE database under the menu item "Quantity reports" by 
31 March 2026.
